12/16 Journal

 The way that I keep my phone secured is with a password, and I keep it with me at all times so no on really has any access to it. My computer and other stuff are in my room and I never really leave my room so no one besides my sisters can get access to it.

Chapter 10, First Impression

 I liked this chapter because even though it was long, it gave a lot of details. I really find it fascinating how the Bishop  is able  to get certain senses, and hep  people who are sick. For example the dying man. The way that he was introduced and all the details that were included towards the end, it made me feel sad for him. Like if I was living in the book.  Like why would everyone hate him, what good did it bring to anyone? But good thing that the Bishop was able to tell the the old man wasn't a bad person.

Final Reflection Essay

 This Semester was unlike any other. It was soooo challenging. From the beginning, this course was so much more different than any others because you have to be more independent with your writing and with yourself. The Blog was also something new that took a while for me to get used to. As well as the reading we did, the book's are more unusual and a bit more challenging to understand. Something that I found really meaningful is that Mr. Preston was very understanding and patient with me and others as well. Other teachers get frustrated quickly and want us to figure it out. The thing that I'm most proud of in this class is learning to post on my Blog. At first I didn't understand much of how to post, and when to post or even how to start writing whatever it was. Les Mis Book 2 Chapter 1

 My first impression on this is that I feel like it's unfair how Jean Valjean is being treated. He has been traveling for a long time and he's hungry, but he does have money and their still refusing to give him food. This makes me wonder what that note said and who exactly is Jean. Towards the end we started learning more about who this  man is, and why many people didn't want him near.
