 My first impression on this is that I feel like it's unfair how Jean Valjean is being treated. He has been traveling for a long time and he's hungry, but he does have money and their still refusing to give him food. This makes me wonder what that note said and who exactly is Jean. Towards the end we started learning more about who this  man is, and why many people didn't want him near. 

 I feel like freedom has to do with a persons choices and actions. It can both be given and taken away. For example is school, if your doing good in your classes you should be given more freedom. but if your not doing good, then freedom should be taken from you. The same thing goes for when your at home. If your behaving and doing chores, your parents should give you freedom. But if you abuse that freedom, it should be taken away.

 I did my own nose piercing during quarantine, and to me it doesn't really symbolize anything. I got it because I like hoe they look, they look cute to me. I do know people hat have done it because they can be having a breakdown of some sort and the pain or stinging from it soothes them in a way.

An earthquake is something that can and is most likely to happen. Something that I can do to be prepared is have a backpack with clothes, canned food, water and flashlights inside. It's also smart to have a plan with your family, of a specific spot or place you can all meet up incase of an emergency.

 I liked this chapter because even though it was long, it gave a lot of details. I really find it fascinating how the Bishop  is able  to get certain senses, and hep  people who are sick. For example the dying man. The way that he was introduced and all the details that were included towards the end, it made me feel sad for him. Like if I was living in the book.  Like why would everyone hate him, what good did it bring to anyone? But good thing that the Bishop was able to tell the the old man wasn't a bad person.

But the situation can be different in other cases. Like if someone is disrespecting you verbally, you should be able to tell them anything you want, which is the freedom of speech. Or protesting, you have your freedom for that and you don't need anyone's permission to do that.

 The four recommendations are, To FIRST read the book that you love. Or read genres that you love, because if you don't, your not going to want to read the book for the fact you wont be interested. SECOND is to seek new ideas and give other books a try. You never know, they might end up interesting you. THIRD you have to see how YOU understand the word read. For example, when we were younger, reading was about spelling out words and learning the sound they make. But now it's different. You have to understand what's going on in the book and what character id doing, who is who, an a lot more. So you have to get a full understanding on what exactly it is that your doing. FOURTH if your confused about something or your not understanding what's going on, don't stress yourself out as much trying to find everything on the page, because sometimes it might be put in a way that you don't full understand, or you might have your own opion at times.
